Sonic Advance 2 (ソニックアドバンス 2, Sonikku Adobansu 2?) is a side-scrolling platform game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, developed by Dimps and published by THQ for the Game Boy Advance. The game was released in Japan on December 19, 2002, in North America on March 9, 2003, in Europe on March 18, 2003. It is based on a modified version of Sonic Advances game engine.
The game received generally positive reviews, similar to its predecessor. However, many players felt the gameplay was too contrived, most levels amounted to little more than pressing right on the D-pad and zooming to the end.
