The p/e ratio, the most used metric into how a company is valued. But is it relevant to a growth stock like Tesla. I mean it wasn't even that long ago when Tesla had a negative p/e ratio. They were losing money every quarter. If you don't make profits then you essentially have an infinitely high p/e ratio.
But Tesla has been making profits for some time now, therefore the p/e ratio valuation is creeping more in for Tesla, and people are wondering as to why it's so high?
