In this tutorial we'll be learning how to manage your Google analytical code with your Wordpress.
So for that you need to login with your Wordpress admin.
You can enter the details here (Timecode 0:36). Once you confirm these you can press “Login” and now you're into your dashboard.
You're redirected to your Wordpress dashboard as you can see here (Timecode 0:51).
In the section appearance you have to navigate for editor. Then in the editor, this is your editor opened. You have to search for header part.
In this header section we'll be merging the Google analytical code.
So if you see, there is no such code present here (Timecode 1:12).
So in order to manage the code we have to log in with the Gmail account because that will be connected to your Google analytics code.
So once you sign up with your Gmail account you can open Google analytics code, press this link.
Now sign in with Google analytics. So you see you're sign in so if you press sign up here (Timecode 1:48).
A message of success is displayed. Now you can mention the several details, these will be used as a universal analytics account so you can get your tracking ID and implement those codes with your setup. Here (Timecode 2:03) you have to enter the name of your site.
Again enter the URL. Now you've to select the type of industry. This will be the niche of your website like mine is business and industrial markets, so we select this.
You can select reporting time zone for U.S and time. Then keep this checkbox marked and press get “tracking ID”.
You can accept this license in order to get the tracking ID. So now this is the code (Timecode 2:51). which you have to copy and paste within your Google analytics appearance section, under editor then header part. Then you have to paste here (Timecode 3:04). Once you paste you can press update file.
So you can see the file has been added successfully.
All these changes will be reflected back in your Gmail account.
