In this video, we will learn about the famous Observer design pattern. It's one of the Java design pattern that we can see pretty much in most of the concepts / frameworks and that makes it a popular design pattern to learn for java interview.

The Observer design pattern works as a push based model where it notifies the listener or observers whenever a state change happens for the Subject or observable.

In this series , we are learning reactive programming with Java and Project reactor. This is pretty much inspired by the observer design pattern as well.

That's the reason , we are learning observer design pattern as a prerequisites for our upcoming lessons on reactive streams.

Let's explore this design pattern in a step by step approach.
