2020 WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
THEME: Biodiversity and Climate Change: The Nexus
In commemoration of this year's World Environment Day, we have put together a webinar to discuss the effects of biodiversity loss on humanity and its relation to #ClimateChange. It is time to come together to #buildbackbetter #forNature
The webinar was in partnership with the Sweden Embassy in which the Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon and ECOWAS was made the Keynote Speaker. We had a set of panelists from across the country; Kafilat Adedeji, Kenneth Obiajulu, Dr Joseph Onoja and Dr Olatunde Oginni.
During the webinar, they expressed the threats to which we are exposed to by damaging biodiversity, they elucidated on several steps at which we can protect biodiversity, the benefits of nature, importance of nature based systems and build back better from this unprecedented period.
