Objects:
Objects are database tables that allow us to store data. This data is specific to the organization in salesforce.
Objects are of two types
1) Standard Object
2) Custom Object
Standard object are the objects which are given to us by Salesforce
Custom objects are database tables that allow you to store data specific to your organization in Salesforce. You can use custom objects to extend Salesforce functionality or to build new application functionality. they can be identified by the API name. It is a custom object, If the API of the object has "__c" towards the end. "c" stands for custom.
Example: API name of student object < student__c ( Tip: look at the end of the object API name, if you see __c then it is a custom object)

Note: we cannot create the standard Object. we can create only custom Objects.

Fields:
A field is like a custom Database column.
Fields are of two types
1) Standard Fields
2) Custom Fields
Just like objects, Standard fields are given by salesforce, and custom fields are created by us. how to identify the standard and custom fields? the answer is API Name. you can create a custom field under the object detail page.
Example: API name of email field < Email__c (created to store the email of the student.)
Note: we cannot create the standard field. we can create only custom fields.
