How to paint Disney characters in 3D
In this video I show you how I made this drawing, and I will give you techniques and useful tips, so that you too can create a 3D painting on the wall, so watch the whole video.
First I prepared the background of the wall, and I then painted it dove gray so as not to draw on a white background.
I then started to paint the first character, and it could only be Mickey Mouse, I took an image of him with his arms open and I chose the measurement to be approximately 1.40 meters from the ground.
I made this drawing freehand, and I painted every part of it with acrylic water-based paints, i.e. painter's colours. then I started to darken it with the help of the airbrush, blending and darkening every part of it, using schoct and masking paper. finally I took the background color and darkened it with a little black and brown to create the shadow of the character.

The second character is Goofy, unlike Mickey Mouse I could draw him bigger, and hence the idea of having him hold an alarm-shaped clock in his hand. I found Goofy in this pose on the internet, perfect for my purpose. After drawing it I planted the nail that held the real gear, and then I outlined the clock with the numbers. note the detail of the shadow of the alarm clock on Goofy's hand.
Also in this case I used the same colors as Mickey Mouse, and the same color for the shadow.
speaking of the shadow like a little mouse, I also painted it for Goofy as if the light was coming from the chandelier in the room and therefore I imagined her a little shorter than him.

The third character is Donald Duck. which I wanted to make him hold a measuring tape starting from the ground, large enough to be able to write the date of each time I measure my baby, so as to remain well imprinted on the wall. However, I didn't find an image with his arm in the air, so I took a normal one and modified his left arm by raising it and drawing the tape measure. as for the other 2 characters, for Donald Duck I also used the same colors and the same technique and as for the other 2 I outlined everything with black uniposca. Now the lower part of the drawing was finished.
