HOW TO EASY INSTALL MODS IN SILKSONG ON LINUX/STEAM DECK
1. In today's guide, I'll show you how to quickly install mods for Silksong on Linux and Steam Deck.
2. Go to the website linked in the description below (Description #1).
3. Download the Windows version of BepInEx5. (Yes, the Windows version, NOT Linux).
4. Remember, you need to be logged into your Nexus Mods account to download files.
5. Once you're logged in, just follow the steps you see in my video.
6. After the download is finished, you need to extract (unzip) the .zip file.
7. Now, open Steam. Right-click on Hollow Knight: Silksong in your library, go to Manage, and then click Browse Local Files.
8. This will open the game's folder. Here, you need to copy and paste all the files from the zip folder you just extracted.
9. After you paste the files, go back to Steam. Right-click on Silksong, go to Properties. In the Launch Options box, copy and paste this line:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%
10. Next, go to the Compatibility tab. Check the box that says Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool. From the dropdown menu, choose Proton Experimental.
11. Now you're done! Just launch the game. To open the mod menu, press the F1 key on your keyboard.
