You know that scene in Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse with Uncle Aaron and the gloves? So, Uncle Aaron made Miles wear rubber gloves to control his venom powers. When Miles is chained to that punching bag at the end of the film, even after Prowler Miles knocked our Miles out, his venom powers are still doing their thing, shooting lightning out of his hands to keep him safe. It's like a subconscious defense mechanism. But, when Miles wakes up, he tries to use his powers, and he can't because of those gloves. So, Miles cleverly uses his index finger to tear the glove at the end, releasing the chains with a direct venom attack. Setting the stage for some serious Beyond The Spider-Verse action!
