10 WEAK FORMS and UNSTRESSED SYLLABLES Examples in Connected Speech
Today, I'll show you a British English pronunciation video on how to pronounce 10 phrases with weak forms (a/of/an/the/to/and/from) in connected speech. As part of weak forms revision, you can say the expressions with me.
Most of the phrases are delicious, believe me, and you could say they're a piece of cake! There are 10 key phrases with weak forms to try.
One problem is for language learners to give full emphasis on syllables and words which should be unstressed. By the end of the video you will know how to say these 10 expressions, all featuring weak forms.
Here are the phrases:

2.red and white,
3.a loaf of bread,
4.a packet of crisps,
5.bread and butter,
6.The currency called the Euro,
7.Almost five to two,
8.He's from London,
9.Twenty to four,
10.Fish and chips.
