This is one of the most disturbing and methodically engineered murder plots in modern American true-crime history.
*Stacy Hunsucker (32)* was a vibrant young mother from Mount Holly, North Carolina —
but for **five years**, her husband, **Joshua Hunsucker**, a highly trained flight paramedic,
was secretly poisoning her with **tetrahydrozoline**, the chemical found in over-the-counter eye drops.

According to investigators, Joshua *manufactured a fake medical history* for Stacy:
years of unexplained heart problems, low blood pressure, fainting episodes,
and a near-fatal cardiac collapse that led to her getting a pacemaker at age 29.
All of it — as later proven — was consistent with **repeated, sub-lethal poisoning**.

On **September 23, 2018**, Joshua administered the final, massive dose.
Stacy collapsed and died.
He refused an autopsy, rushed a cremation within 48 hours,
and immediately filed for **$250,000 in life-insurance payouts**,
then bought a luxury boat and began a new life with his girlfriend.

But one thing he didn’t anticipate:
a single *organ-donor blood sample* had been preserved.
Advanced toxicology later showed *30–40x the therapeutic level* of tetrahydrozoline —
irrefutable evidence of prolonged poisoning.

Joshua was arrested in 2019, and while free on bond,
he **harassed Stacy’s parents**, faked his own kidnapping to frame her father,
and even *poisoned his 11-year-old daughter* in a desperate attempt
to shift blame and regain custody.

He is now jailed without bail, awaiting trial.
