Facebook Messenger does not allow users to send files directly through the app, but you can easily share files using Google Drive. This method works for both iPhone and Android devices and allows you to send documents, PDFs, images, and other file types by sharing a link.
To start, download and install the *Google Drive* app from the App Store or Play Store if you don’t already have it. Open the app and log into your Google account. Tap the *"+" (New)* button at the bottom, then select *"Upload."* Choose the file from your device that you want to send. Once uploaded, locate the file in Google Drive, tap on the *three dots* next to it, and select *"Share."*
Next, tap on *"Manage access"* and change the sharing setting from *"Restricted"* to *"Anyone with the link."* This ensures that anyone who receives the link can open the file without needing permission. Once updated, tap on *"Copy link."*
Now, open Facebook Messenger, go to the chat where you want to send the file, and paste the copied link. The recipient can click the link to access and download the file. This is the most efficient way to send files through Messenger on mobile devices.
