The webinar introduces current best practice guidance for carbon management in infrastructure and outlines how carbon can be measured, and ultimately reduced on projects. Carbon management will then be linked to the wider Future Ready initiative that demonstrates how WSP’s innovative thinking can develop solutions to protect our clients’ interests, future proof the work we do and positively impact the communities in which we live and work.
A summary of project case studies will also be covered including our partnership in setting a Net Zero Strategy with National Highways, as well as recent design examples such as HS2, where the client has set an ambitious target to reduce the carbon in our design by 50% against the baseline.
