Seiko Prospex SPB 451 : the latest version of the 62 MAS
First look at my SPB 451. The new size is nice and can be felt on wrist: slightly slimmer, slightly smaller caes size, and lug to lug slimmed by over 1mm. The new date window is far less obtrusive than I thought it would be and the bracelet improvements are nice. If I keep it will all depend on accuracy... the SPB 143s I tried were all over the map and, for the money, it is hard to get behind a watch that can't do the one thing it's supposed to do well... keep time. Will keep you posted, but it is comforatble and a stunner. For a daily go anywhere, do anything it is up to the task and this new version (though slightly smaller) adds 100m of WR to the equation.
Update since having it for a few months... accuracy has settled in and this is generally +/- 5 spd... though occasionally it wants to run +12spd... just depends on how much I am wearing it, but overall the accuracy is good (better than stated).
