Zhmurki is an old Russian game: the blindfolded leader catches the other players. By the mid-1990s, the rules of the game had changed: the winner is the one who survives, turning the other "players" into dead men.
Nizhny Novgorod. Two small-time gangsters, Seryoga and Simon, were working for a major gangster, Sergei Mikhailovich. However, the boys botched his latest assignment: he ordered the fetching of a chemist who was conjuring up a new batch of white powder, but Seryoga and Simon caused a complete massacre in the lab, leaving behind the corpses of the chemist and a couple of his guards.
Sergei Mikhailovich was very angry, but limited himself to a verbal reprimand, after which he gave the boys another assignment: to go to a law firm and exchange a briefcase of money for a briefcase of heroin. But here, too, Seryoga and Simon were out of luck: the exchange took place, but as they were leaving the office, they were met by Koron, Bala, and Baklazhan—three bandits hired by Senior Police Lieutenant Stepan, a "werewolf in uniform" who dreamed of ripping off Sergei Mikhailovich for a lot of money...
