Serval Hunts Snake
Fera the African Serval hunts a garter snake in her enclosure.
Did you know that Servals have one of the highest hunting success rates of any cat? It’s about 62%. To put that in perspective, a cheetah has a rate of 40-50%, a lion’s rate is 30%, and a tiger is 10%.
This particular snake survived tho - we managed to get the snake away from her and set it free.
