One thing I forgot to mention is that the dimensions of your final song-image will be the same as your source image. So pick your dimensions wisely.
It's not easy to make changes that sound good. Lots of things done to the song-image just end up creating horrible noise. One of the reasons why this is more to flex than anything else. At some point, I want to mess around with inputting the images into another program. Perhaps I can try pixel sorting if I can figure that out.
Note: I forget if I said this in the video or not, but if you want to edit two songs together, make sure you use the same source image for both songs. Things won't work right if the image dimensions don't match.
