Excel is missing some functions, but Google has ISBETWEEN which compares a value to a low & high in a list or returns TRUE if a specified date is in a target date range (with start and end dates specified). Google also has ISURL and ISEMAIL which test if they have a valid syntax and my favourite is ISDATE which tests if a number is formatted as a date AND has a date value.
