Now recognised worldwide as a symbol of peace, Pablo Picasso’s ‘La Colombe’ (The Dove) was chosen to feature on commemorative posters for the first peace conference, which took place in Paris in 1949.
Picasso created more iterations of his dove for peace conferences across Europe, including original lithographs from 1950, 1952 and 1962. Printed at the historic Atelier Mourlot, this collectible poster is accompanied by a Certificate of Provenance, signed and stamped by Eric Mourlot.
