Nintendo 64 SoundTools Development Cartridge Demo - N64 Game Development Kit [#36]
In this video I provide a Full hardware and software demo for the N64 SoundTools Development Cartridge, released by Nintendo in the late 90's.
A full development setup is shown using a PC running Windows 98, along with an NTSC N64 console and CRT monitor.
I show how the cartridge and software are able to import a music MIDI track, as well as add custom sound samples. The completed MIDI composition is previewed on the N64 console using the SoundTools development cartridge.
