The first short by SPINEHAUS; let's walk through how to take the jagged default CSP screentones and turn them into the lush and professional patterns they were meant to be.
This is my first Youtube video. I kinda took a lot on at once and although I have a decent handle on Premiere Pro, I just dove in and tried picking up AfterEffects from zero. It's probably a little overboard but it was a good time creating all of the effects. I just finished rendering this at 7:30 am after working on it all night. Hopefully as my skills improve there will be a lot less friction and I can get one of these videos out a week. There's this thing called "red light fever" that I've never experienced. I was in theatre classes and have no problem speaking to people or to groups, but for some reason when I'm alone in my room and that red recording light comes on....I stutter and panic and can barely speak. I ended up just writing a script and following that but the voiceover is a bit robotic and I still sound nervous as hell haha. Well, it wasn't exactly a difficult (or hell, particularly useful) tutorial but not too bad for a first attempt I think....hope you can take something away from it. Thanks for watching.
