Install Wordpress Locally in 2020!
Hey guys! I just wanted to record this quick video in order to show you an awesome software that I discovered which makes the process of installing Wordpress locally on your computer very fast and easy!
Ever since I started creating wordpress sites I have been using software such as XAMPP to install and run wordpress websites on my computer. Even though XAMPP did the job, the process of installing new worpdress sites was always very long and frustrating. I had to create a new database, database users, a config file and go through a long setup process in order to successfully have a fully functional website running locally on my machine.
Ever since I discovered the software I'm about to show you in this video my life has changed! It literally takes less than 60 seconds to create a new wordpress website locally. It does the whole installation process with a click of a button and you are up and running within a few seconds. Another awesome advantage is that the wordpress theme and plugin directory are fully functional even on the local instance of the software (something that I never managed to get working with XAMPP).
