Vincent (Patrick Bruel), a triumphant forty-something, is about to become a father for the first time. Invited to dinner with Élisabeth (Valérie Benguigui) and Pierre (Charles Berling), his sister and brother-in-law, he meets Claude (Guillaume de Tonquédec), a childhood friend. While waiting for the arrival of Anna (Judith El Zein), his eternally late young wife, he's bombarded with questions about his future fatherhood amidst general good humor... But when Vincent is asked if he's already chosen a name for the unborn child, his response plunges the family into chaos.
