do not buy logitech c920 its overpriced cuz of the world situation and you most likely have a zero dollar alternative that you can use right now
am just gonna get right into it the alternative is an android app by the droidcam its simple to use and it turns your phone onto a webcam if you have an iphone there's an alternative by the name of epocam i do not have an iphone to be able to test this but if its anything like droid cam it should easy to use and work just fine
So how do you actually use droidcam its simple on your computer https://www.dev47apps.com or google droidcam and it should be the first link that pops up or go to the description and click the first link in the description when you on the website you'll see at thee bottom download windows client you'll click on that an then you should see droidcam v 6.3.1 or if theres a later version u might see v 6.3.2 or v7 or whatever you wanna click on this and you should see a save file window like this pop up u then wanna click save file and then wait for the file to download if your on microsoft edge or chrome you wanna go down here to the file and click on open file if you see a window like this pop up click yes thne here you wanna click next then agree then next then install then finish how to use phone as webcam
