I was sort of in and out with making this album. honestly, it didn't even have a real origin plan, I just wanted to upload after so long and decided that all these tracks I've been making could be put in one album and sound relatively alright with each other. I am really proud of the art though for the video, though making the video itself was a struggle. I wanted to exersise using a video editing software that was not powerpoint due to powerpoint's failure to properly export audio; however, capcut sucks and canva has its own horrible issues. Still, I am really proud of the final product, and I hope you like my "mecha mochi" (mochi is the name of the plush dog). Please give her a (1) hug and $300 from your credit card please :)
The art and animation, as usual, was made in powerpoint. The design was heavily inspired by those gundam or armorcore diagrams and the vague ps1, frutiger aero, pre-gen z internet which I still feel weird adoring the design of. It is like parasitic, imaginary nostalgia - a past never to be loved by my generation. I begun using japanese in the art too! Don't worry, the dog is also canonically japanese (as in the dog was gotten from japan in-person). I swear, english just sucks aesthetically compared to most other languages. The pixel art was made through pixelorama, and omg it took me so long to get the floppy to look decent. I still think it could hypothetically be improved, but it definitely works still. one more thing, I did not realize until just now that the black boxes don't completely cover the screen behind. it took so long to export that I simply don't care (at least this is what I'm trying to do)
