Alien (1979 film review)
Since Prometheus will arrive in theatres in the next few days, I thought I'd take the time to discuss the original 1979 Alien film (which Prometheus is the prequel to). Alien is an outstanding science-fiction horror film with incredible suspense, deeply chilling imagery and a solid narrative, and is let down only by a slightly flat performance by Sigourney Weaver, the uneven production values and a couple of unintentionally funny moments.
