These shortcuts are reasonably standards and work in other software too. Ctrl + A, for example, will select all files in a folder in the File Explorer or select all selectable elements in a graphics editing program. In fact, I am using Ctrl + → in this dialogue box as I am typing this.
While these shortcuts themselves save you only a few seconds here or there, they will significantly speed up your tasks.
