Using Signal Flow Graph, i.e., SFG, basic structures of IIR system are discussed with solved examples. The video starts by introducing the merits of each representation and includes topics related to computational complexity, area of chip, modularity of VLSI circuits, precision requirements in terms of fixed point and floating point before moving towards Type I form of IIR system and Type II form of IIR System. The infinite Impulse Response system is further analyzed using the cascade form of IIR system and Parallel form of IIR system. We resort to a second order system for the clarity of topic in this video.
