4K drone nature video with scenic aerial views of the 75 mile (121 km) long Matanuska River and surrounding mountains as the river flows southwest from the Matanuska Glacier through the Matanuska Valley.
The Matanuska river flows between the Talkeetna Mountains to the north and the Chugach Mountains to the south. The Glenn Highway runs along the river.
The scenic aerial views of the river end in Palmer, about 9.5 miles (15.3 km) short of where the river enters the Knik Arm. The footage was taken in mid summer.
