Electron is a wave, but proton is not a wave. How is this possible?
The electron, this lightest elementary particle, shows its wave nature without embarrassment. It interferes, tunnels, "smears" itself across space, as if it were not a particle at all, but a drop of fog. But the proton is heavier, and much more restrained, so to speak.
