Oil Stone Knife Sharpening
When I was a kid every store with counter, the kind you stand at and tell them what you needed then they went and got it, had a oil stone on it, usually with a big dip in. Every man that waited at that counter would hone his knife real quick while waiting. This is how I use a oil stone for larger knives.
