Marcel Duchamp "Large Glass" appropriation animation
With ambitious stress I’ve come to change,
an art piece complex and somewhat strange.
The shapes peculiar and full of motion,
my aims, to maneuver, build emotion.
Humor employed with apprehension,
the viewer enjoys this snap of tension.
My method was testing, trial and error,
wedded with inventing, drive and vigor.
My decisions were instinctive, “where will it go?”
I envisioned a fictive and went with the flow.
This process was long and involved frustration,
my progress was strong, a result of my patience.
Directly influenced by “The Large Glass”,
it’s direction and movement I had to surpass.
Marcel Duchamp's piece was a study of chance,
meticulous divisions and a sultry suspense.
The futurists were fascinated, by visual technology,
my interests are animated, digital photography.
This artwork became a peaceful retreat,
It‘s parts; quirk, in flame, deceitful, unique.
I’ve developed a passion for animating my thoughts,
I’ll definitely practice, terminating my flaws.
I’m proud of my work, I’ve noticed success,
I’ve plowed through and learned, to focus my stress.
