My name is George Allen, and I am 35 years old. My hometown is San Antonio, Texas and I was raised on the eastside of town. My major is communications and I am currently a senior at UTSA where I am close to graduating next year. I am very laid back and have a chill persona/personality. I love sports. I played football and basketball in high school, which I enjoyed, but was not able to play at the next level due to injuries and other unforeseen circumstances. In my free time I like to work on my vlog on YouTube, which is a lifestyle channel that has content that can help people in everyday life. If you are interested in seeing me in action you can find me on YouTube by the name of Trans Form UU or if you want to get motivated, you can follow me on Instagram at motivatethemental - would really appreciate you.

Black Futures Collective
Person Interviewed Celeste Brown
Date of interview 10/31/2021

Looking back at my interview I can honestly say that this was a very humbling experience. Being able to interview Celeste Brown, a person who has so much passion for what they do, was a pleasure for me. I really enjoyed myself learning about The Black Futures Collective. It is so great to know that there is an organization that will lend a helping hand in a time of need. The coolest thing to me is that this organization is truly a judgement free community. If you seriously need help with bills or even building confidence in yourself, they will be there to help no questions asked. This group is a wonderful place to go if you need help with finding your voice
or purpose since they teach you that your voice does matter. They encourage you to be proud of yourself no matter what gender you represent or what race you are. Talking to Celeste really encouraged me to go into the world and try to make a difference in someone's life for the better which I plan to do.
