GSAP Lesson 3.6 - Getting Started - Episode 1
GSAP is a simple JS library for animation. The cheat sheet is at https://greensock.com/cheatsheet/, and the first steps can be taken using the guide at https://greensock.com/get-started/. What does GSAP actually do? The library SIMPLY manipulates properties - changes them many times per unit of time, allows you to hide and appear elements. GSAP supports DOM, SVG, canvas and more! In CSS, it allows you to change almost all CSS properties, among them we will find interesting sizes height and width, working with opacity and others. In SVG, we will need fill, stroke and, also, opacity! GSAP has additional plugins for rendering SVG and its morphing! And in general, you can change any numerical values and integrate the library with other tools, you can even attach it to React or Vue, but.. we will focus on the main thing.
