I Can't Paint in VR
Something different. I wanted to record the whole thing but after 30 minutes I didn't realize my phone stopped recording the cast. Got most of it, at least.

I've never painted on a real canvas in my life, but after watching an episode of Bob Ross I decided to give it a try using whatever I could remember of Ross' techniques and color theory I learned in middle school. I think it came out pretty okay. It's a real testiment to Bob Ross' ability to teach complete noobs like me how to make halfway competent landscape paintings. I'm sure semi-pro painters that may watch this will cringe at some of the happy little mistakes I made.
I've got animation projects on the backburner but have been too busy being a husband and pest technician to dedicate the kind of time I did to make videos. I've been brainstorming a new way to do ocarina videos by making it more like guitar hero to make it easier to follow along and up the quality of the videos.
My wife got me an oculus quest 2 for my birthday which I've been greatly enjoying. I find it particularly rewarding when I can make groups of people laugh in VRchat.
