[Old WR] Grow Home | Any%
In preparation for a different sort of video I've been wanting to make I went back to relearn the speedrun of Grow Home and over a few days I managed to grind out a new world record!
There is some new tech at the very start which involves half-sideways bhopping. It seems like a lot of games if you hold two directional keys (AD or WD) while hopping you gain way more speed that if you were just doing it normally. With a good hit off the rocks and a faster climb up the wall the start alone was 20 seconds faster than 6 years ago. Not sure if this is possible on a controller or not though.
