The Arizona desert is the most surreal landscape I've ever seen - Location Scouting Part 1
I'm in Arizona for a couple of weeks following NAB 2019 in Las Vegas. Before the trip to Vegas, though, I wanted to explore a little around the area I'll be staying at in Arizona to find some locations for photo shoots.
I have a couple of shoots planned for after NAB, and I wanted some idea of what was available in the immediate (within an hour's drive) vicinity of Casa Grande.
Chloe Darling came along with me. Well, technically, she was doing the driving, so I came along with her. But we found some pretty awesome looking locations that I can't wait to get back to and shoot at properly with a human subject!

For this trip, I have the Sigma "Big Three" lenses to play with. That means the 14-24mm f/2.8 Art, the 24-70mm f/2.8 Art, and the new 70-200mm f/2.8 Sports lenses. I'll have more thoughts on all three lenses coming to a review on DIYP soon.
I've also been using the new PolarPro Peter McKinnon Edition 2-5 Stop Variable ND filter on the vlogging camera. I've never been a big fan of variable NDs in the past, preferring to use regular NDs, but this one has really won me over. I'll have a full review of this filter coming to DIYP soon, too.
