To save money, many people call incompetent people to do some work or, even worse, they decide to do the work themselves, thinking "that's all it takes"... but it's not really like that... the professional, before knowing how to use tools and materials, he knows them well, and knows the right steps to obtain an excellent and above all long-lasting result.
In this video I show you a job that I had planned. However, the customer had called a bricklayer who told him that he could paint the railings himself while he did his work.
He certainly bought the first gray he found in the hardware store and applied the color directly to the railing without even sanding.
Furthermore, being terraced houses, it was the only railing of a different colour, and I would add that in my opinion, it got an interior glaze.
In fact, within 6 months the color he had worn peeled off in the lower part, demonstrating that the rain had ruined the lower part with accumulation of water.
The customer immediately complained about the light gray color, and he confirmed that it would darken over time....LIE
The client called me back 6 months later and in the video I briefly show you what I had to do.
The video is aimed at all those who believe that saving money will solve the situation. But no!
The client paid the bricklayer, and had, within 6 months, to pay me for the work but also the sanding work which lasted 2 days.
To conclude, the incompetent ALWAYS costs more than the professional.
