Plot Summary
The Outer Worlds is an art deco style single-player RPG from Obsidian and Private Division. It is set in the Halcyon solar system that is under the dominion of megacorporation’s. Colonists volunteered to a cryosleep aboard two Halcyon-bound spacecrafts. The first ship completed the trip successfully, whilst the second ship ‘The Hope’ is lost in transit for approximately 70 Years. ‘The Hope’ is discovered by Phineas Welles who revives a passenger, the player, who he promptly jettisons to Emerald Vale. This is where your journey to save the other colonists in cryosleep begins. You spend the game visiting a handful of content rich planets talking, shooting and negotiating your way through most situations.
