2022 Saint Louis University Christmas on the Quad
Saint Louis University's annual Christmas on the Quad tradition, held in the first week of December, spreads joy across campus each year. Festive activities, including fire pits, a Holiday Cheer Garden, and visits with the Billiken and Santa, bring students, alumni and the entire SLU community together for an evening of fun following a men's basketball game. The evening concludes with a candlelight blessing and tree lighting ceremony led by University President Fred P. Pestello, Ph.D., and First Lady Fran Pestello, Ph.D.

Fred P. Pestello, Ph.D.: For 204 years, the people of Saint Louis University have been gathering to celebrate Christmas.
We continue that tradition tonight. This is a beautiful campus, made even more beautiful, certainly with the lights and decorations, but particularly because of all of us together celebrating the birth of Christ and all that it stands for and means.
And so now you have one very important job, the count down, and we will light this tree.
So are you ready? Three, two, one....
