In September 2015, the Russian Investigative Committee announced the completion of its criminal investigation into 38-year-old Kamchatka resident Vladimir Tushinsky. He is accused of rape and murder. At least five young women lost their lives simply because they resembled the maniac, popularly known as the Kamchatka Chikatilo, in appearance, his stepdaughter.
