Removing the gearbox, replacing the flywheel on a Vito 638 2.2 CDI
Removing the gearbox, replacing the flywheel on a Vito 638 2.2 CDI
1. Remove the front wheels
2. Drain the gearbox oil
3. Unscrew the stabilizer bar on both sides.
4. Remove the drive shafts from the gearbox.
5. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the gearbox.
6. Loosen the nut securing the wires in the junction box (on the washer reservoir)
7. Disconnect the gearbox shift cables
8. Loosen the nut securing the pressure line clamp. 9. Unscrew the right axle shaft and remove it.
10. Disconnect the left fork.
11. Unscrew the power steering barrel bracket.
12. Disconnect the clutch line and line clamp.
13. Unscrew the transmission-to-cushion mounting bolt.
14. Secure the transmission to the lifting device.
15. Unscrew the transmission mounting bolts.
