How to Build a Single LED Blinking Circuit | LED Flasher Circuit

In today’s project, I’m going to show you how to make a simple LED blinking circuit using a BC547 transistor, a capacitor, a resistor, and an LED. This is one of the easiest and most useful electronic circuits you can build at home, especially if you’re a beginner in electronics.

We’ll start by connecting a 1000µF capacitor to the BC547 transistor. Then we’ll add a 1kΩ resistor to control the current flow and protect the LED. Finally, we’ll connect a 12V battery to power the circuit. Once everything is connected, the LED will start blinking automatically.

This works because the capacitor continuously charges and discharges through the transistor, creating an ON/OFF cycle for the LED. By changing the capacitor or resistor values, you can adjust the blinking speed—making it faster or slower.

This LED blinker circuit is not only a fun project but also a great way to learn how transistors, resistors, and capacitors work together. You can use this type of circuit for indicators, signal lights, DIY gadgets, or just as a cool electronics experiment.
