Rett's Roost
"One of the many things that made this year’s Superhero 5K so special this year was having the chance to debut our short promotional film about Rett’s Roost—at the beautiful Leavitt Theatre, no less.
When we first reached out to our friends Heidi and Alex at Tap House Media, we knew they would come up with something that truly captured the soul of Rett’s Roost. Something timeless and beautiful that represents the reasons why we believe so strongly in Rett's Roost’s mission. Their incredible work exceeded even our sky-high expectations. We’re still in awe of what they created.
Rett’s powerful story at the beginning portrays that of all the children who have suffered and continue to suffer through cancer. And then, as if to relieve our hearts of the shocking truths and unfathomable outcomes of pediatric cancer, we see the smiles and glimpses of hope on people’s faces during the retreats; we hear the gratitude in their voices. It means so much to know that these gatherings have left such an indelible mark—one we hope will stay with them forever.
