Strafe Jump Speed Build Up UE4 FPS Sample
I have no idea how YouTube works, I put a piece of music in the background just so you don't get bored to death watching this simple demonstration of a strafe jump sample of my FPS game, I hope you like it, I shared the blueprint and the .uasset file in my drive.
Please use it without limit and if you can help, please do I might need some.
The mathematics behind it is relatively simple, it gets the keyboard and mouse input and calculates a factor that is used as a speed multiplier with a jump limit of 3 jumps, that way the speed is clamped somewhat just to not make it absurd and ridiculous, I am fervently convinced based on my knowledge of mathematics that this logic is somewhat flawed and cannot perform well in a polished FPS game, but it does the job, so please jump in and help in any way you can, and I do mean any way you can even it's nothing big, even if you can only send me an RTX 3090, I wouldn't say no.
