This Temperature and Humidity recording and alert system can take readings from 4 Sensors. Phone call, SMS and Email alert will be generated if temperature or Humidity exceeds limits. Optionally alerts can be generated for power supply failure, water leakage, fire etc.
Configuration of the Main Device. System Set up.
You can change the Date and Degree Centigrade. If you want Fahrenheit, you can change over here.
You can add password over here. If you want to reset everything into factory defaults, you can do that.
I am not activating any of these things.
Now we will show you how to configure the sensors, now you can see all the reading over here.
Click Main Menu. Come to sensor by pressing the Right or Left Button. So I will show you configuring sensor number 3.
For example, Press Enter.
You will see that its thermocouple sensor.
You will see the serial number of the sensor.
Now if you want to show the maximum and minimum on the main screen, you can select YES.
Now I will show you how to change the sampling data.
Sampling data means, the frequency of data collection. So I keep it 1, which means, it will take a reading in every 1 minute.
This is automatic type of average and medium.
You can change fast medium or slow.
By default you can keep medium. Now this is for indicating on the graph.
This has nothing to do with recording limits for both of them.
Now 5 and -30 means all the screen it will show their X axis from -30 to 5
So since now we are in room temperature, I will keep upper limit 30 and lower limit 10.
So in the graph, the X axis will be from 10 to 30.
This Probe missing alarm: suppose the probe is removed, it can generate an alarm.
If you want you can keep it enabled and press enter.
This is how you trigger an alarm for temperature variation.
Press enter, here you can see alarm is disabled.
Enable it. Press Enter
This will trigger alarm relay for 15 seconds
So that means it will give a signal to the contact relay for 15 seconds.
I will set it like it if temperature is above 27.5°C for 20 minutes. Or you can change if you want for 19 minutes or if temperature is below say 10°C for 1 hr.
If you don’t want 1 hr if you want like 58 min, 57 min, whatever you can select, For 55 minutes give an alarm.
So this is all about the configuration of the each sensor.
Then Press Escape.
Again press Escape.
Now it will ask whether the data should be retained because since we are made lots of changes.
So in this case, will say YES
Now the sensor configuration of number 3 is over.
Now we can see that it’s already above the higher limit, so it is indicating the Red color.
