The Yak-1B was a Soviet single-engine fighter aircraft of World War II. It was the first combat aircraft developed at Factory No. 115 under the direction of Alexander Sergeyevich Yakovlev as a prototype of the I-26 fighter. After completing state testing, it was accepted into serial production under the Yak-1 designation. It was produced from 1940 to 1944; a total of 8,734 aircraft of all modifications were built.
