Dancing murderer boasts after killing love-rival in jealous rage
Gavin Casey, 31, attacked Christopher Messenger, 36, in Birmingham after flying into a jealous rage because his ex-partner offered to make him a hot drink. Casey smashed Mr Messenger, who was recovering from a car accident, with bottles and stamped on his face before dropping a TV on him. CCTV showed Casey dancing maniacally in a car park after the attack on February 9, while he was heard laughing and shouting: 'I've killed him.' Mr Messenger was found by another resident who lived at the shared property in Birmingham, and was taken to hospital but he died days later. Hours after the attack, Casey bought drugs and threatened to jump from a gas tower in the Aston area of the city. Police bodycam footage showed him being arrested after a five-hour stand-off with officers.
