00:05 Why learn C ++?
I'm a programmer in C and C ++, but I don't stick to one of the two and write a mixture of the two. Sometimes it's a good idea to write code in a class using operator overloading or templates. Sometimes using a simple C function pointer is much more readable and clear. So I find beauty and practicality in both languages. I don't want to go into the discussion, "If you mix them up and compile with a C ++ compiler, it's no longer a mix, it's all C ++." Also, I don't want to talk about C vs C ++, this question is about C ++.
I think C ++ has a significant change in the way C ++ works, but in many situations it changes the way different functions work, multiple inheritance, identifiers acting as keywords, many special cases limiting extensions, exceptions and Introduced irregularity. String literals, lambda function variable capture, etc.

When I say C ++, I think that at some point in the future, everyone uses C ++. It will mean C99 just like when you say C these days. You can consider learning C ++. After all, if you want to continue writing code in C ++, you may have to use that feature at some point because you have colleagues.
Use C for example. Even after a few years, there are still many people learning and writing the C language. Why is that? Because the language is good. To make a good programming language, there are many rules. So powerful (almost all programming languages easy or difficult) C is regular and there are few exceptions. However, C ++ doesn't think so. I am not sure if the language is improving due to the changes introduced in C ++.
