Lets talk about junk silver! In 2022 is junk silver still a good buy? How much silver are you actually getting for your money? Is junk silver rare? All these questions and more will be answered! 10 years ago, constitutional or junk silver was a great buy, often close to melt. But due to the pandemic and the fear of having to use silver for barter there has been an explosion in demand for the once cheap 90% silver coins. Silver that is driven up in price strictly due to demand is a dangerous buy, it can lose its value faster than any other silver. Once demand is down the premiums will follow, leaving you with silver now worth much less than when you bought it. Silver eagles fall into the same category of dangerous buys, silver eagles on average are $5-$6 more per ounce than any other sovereign silver coin, that leaves a lot of cash on the table that can slowly dwindle into major losses.
